The TIG DC function is used for welding stainless steel , carbon and low alloy steels , copper and titanium.
Welding takes place in an inert gas shield. The arc is produced in non-contact (HF) or touch (LIFT) mode. LIFT is used when welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference. With both HF and LIFT contactless ignition we can choose the button function in the TIG holder between 2-tact or 4-tact operation (button lock for long welds).
